You are working in an emergency room with a nurse’s assistant when Korean parents bring in their child, GiMin, who has fallen out of a tree. The child is 5 years old and is crying and clinging to his mother. The child is also guarding his right arm. He will not let anyone but mom touch him. GiMin’s mom is visibly upset and keeps saying, “I should have been watching him better.” GiMin’s father is upset and keeps telling the child to “stop crying because boys don’t cry.”
Culture plays a huge role in how people react to different situations. Nurses need to take into consideration how the cultural background of the child and the parents may affect their reactions. In addition, nurses also need to be aware of language as well.
There are many alternative therapies available for pain. Through the use of these alternative therapies, patients can take control of their pain relief without the need to ask for pain medication from medical professionals. In addition, these therapies are used both inside and outside the hospital to help relieve both acute and chronic pain.
Use the above information to develop an individualized plan of care for GiMin based on his acute physiological, cultural, and psychosocial needs.
When you develop your plan of care, please ensure your answers address cultural AND pain concerns, including non-pharmacological pain therapy, as well as any additional physiological concerns. Please use the template below. This assignment does not need to be in APA format, but it does need at least one reference and citation using APA format

As you transition into practice, it is important to recognize that part of being a registered nurse is the opportunity to demonstrate leadership related to professional practice. In this scenario, what are you able to delegate to the nursing assistant that would be appropriate to help you provide quality and efficient care for the patient and family?
Nursing Care Plan:
Diagnosis: Write two priority three-part nursing diagnoses for the patient and family.
Planning: Write two priority patient goals (SMART).
Implementation: Write three interventions for each goal above, including the rationale for why they were selected. Please consider cultural interventions for the care of the patient in your development of quality interventions for the patient and family.
Evaluation: In one or two sentences, how will the nursing care plan be evaluated? Hint: Your goals should be measurable and timely; therefore, you should be able to evaluate the patient based on your SMART goals.
