our written undertaking will take the form of a reflective practice journal entry, that will include:
§ a 1500 word COUNT reflection on how you:
demonstrated unacceptable behaviour during an in-class examination (unprofessional behaviour) that lead to giving another student an unfair advantage in an assessment
failed to comply and practice according to relevant legislation/policy/procedures whilst undertaking an examination – which could ultimately put patient safety at risk
were unable to demonstrate effective communication;
failed to follow reasonable direction from WSU staff;
engaged in behaviour that was a breach of University policies in relation to acceptable standards of behaviour – including the WSU Student Code of Conduct and WSU Student Honour code
§ an apology for the admitted misconduct and a pledge not to repeat or continue the behaviour or activity that is the subject of this finding of Misconduct
§ You must answer the question “What would you do if you were placed in the same situation again?”
§ You must ensure your reflection is written with specific reference to the following 4 NMBA/ICN policy and guideline documents, so that you can demonstrate you understand how your academic misconduct poses a risk to your professional integrity and safe practice of both yourself and the other student in which you engaged in the misconduct
